#NCSNOWCHAT – Connecting and Innovating

What do you do during inclement weather?

Picture1Read a book, catch up on some rest, catch up on work [I don’t think there’s a wrong answer here]. This break for me meant my wife and I wearing out our couch, catching up with some family and friends and making sure our Netflix and Hulu are working. Its good to decompress knowing your students, school and community are safe and tucked away.

The night before our first day out, I was chatting with Rob Breyer, @rbreyer51, AP here in NC. As we were catching up, he threw out the idea of starting a chat for the snow days. My initial reaction was overwhelmingly positive and as we brainstormed further, it became obvious were in for a great experience.

The chats that followed over the next three days [harsh weather] were great discussions and growth opportunities. We were joined by educators from across NC and some outside! #allwelcome
